Facilitator Information
We can’t run games without volunteers to help facilitate - bold souls who make sure a megagame runs as smoothly as it can, taking player questions, explaining rules, and coordinating freeform and creative play. We love ‘em!
To help show our appreciation for facilitators, we provide the following to people who volunteer for a game:
A free ticket to an EMM game. You are limited to 5 holding free tickets at any one time, if you facilitate after this number of megagames you will not accrue any more.
Reasonable transport costs. We may vary this owing to number of facilitators at certain games, so this is something we will highlight to you before each game if you are interested in facilitating.
As examples, we have previously covered £34 train fares and £59 car mileage claims, but as mentioned - this number may vary per game.Reasonable parking costs. For those who need parking, we can cover a reasonable all-day parking fee. This is typically between £12-£25 depending on parking arrangement.
We also provide relevant information and briefings to anyone who facilitates for each megagame, as well as an opportunity for questions beforehand, typically via the EMM Discord.
