Den of Wolves
18th November - Nottingham
Game themes: Sci-Fi / Survival
Gameplay: Negotiation / Resource-allocation / Teams / Traitors / Combat
Hunted by a relentless foe through space, tensions are rising in the battered survivor fleet - whilst you suffer attacks from enemy spaceships, you can't help shake the feeling other enemies may already be onboard the survivor fleet's vessels.
This run of Den of Wolves was as chaotic and immersive as ever, with several excellent costumes (not mandatory, but still fun) and some very inventive gameplay on the part of the different teams.
There were ship mutinies of suspected Wolf spies (who were innocent), a luxury liner with no food organised a massive party to distract everyone from their hunger, and a mystery disease caused a m military quarantine - and that’s all not counting the shenanigans of some ship captains who wanted to weld their vessels together!
Things were looking bad when a Wolf fleet caught up with the survivors. It was then, when all looked bleak, that a secret Wolf revealed themselves and rammed the fuel refinery ship straight into the fleet’s carrier! With that, everyone starting jumping away, to who knows what fate…

Player testimony from this run of Den of Wolves:
“Extremely fun game, and being able to do things outside of the rules with the facilitators approval gave it the players more options.”
“Such a well run game. Helpful facilitators. The press were awesome. And the last round drama of leaving a crew member behind to jump to our new world was amazing!”
“Evocative theme, fun traitor mechanics… cosplay was excellent. Red herrings making players think they were going to be made Wolf players were hillarious.”
“Really enjoyed the game, great people and theme. Attention to detail was amazing and the facilitators were supportive.”
